Plans For R+D 659 Altered After Outburst Of Dissent To Alderman Burnett
The plan to sell 20 units at R+D 659, located at 659 W Randolph St in the 27th Ward was nixed after an outburst of dissent to Alderman Burnett. Residents believed that the plan to sell the units to Thresholds, a not-for-profit organization that helps mentally ill patients, would decrease property values in an already depressed real estate market and would present a risk to the residents’ safety.
