The 27th Ward has long needed positive change to put it back on track to being an up and coming part of Chicago. The growth that was occurring has plateaued over the past few years due to the economic crisis that has faced our nation. To bring the 27th Ward, Chicago and our country out of this crisis it will take innovative thinking and new policies. The people of the United States have been the strength of our nation since its foundation. At the Campaign for Change, we believe it is time for the people of Chicago’s 27th ward to come together to bring hope back into the city.
Campaign For Change Begins In Chicago’s 27th Ward
On July 1, 2010, the Committee for Change was incorporated, and since then has grown as a network of people that believe change can start in the 27th Ward of Chicago. The Committee for Change is a not-for-profit corporation and political action committee. Our purpose is to support positive change in the City of Chicago beginning in the 27th Ward. We advocate for the policies that benefit the city and stand united against laws and ordinances that are negatively affecting the people and the growth of the 27th Ward in Chicago.
What The Campaign For Change Is Doing In The 27th Ward
There are two primary ways that the Campaign for Change is working for the people in Chicago’s 27th Ward. Our website will be an open forum for you to share your thoughts and opinions on issues going on in the City of Chicago. Share news with your friends and get their perspective of things. The voice of the people should be valued by the government, and is valued by the Campaign for Change. Secondly, we will promote candidates whose policies will best represent the citizens of the City of Chicago and the 27th Ward. Putting the right people into office is one the best ways to effect change.

• Saving money to offer free legal assistance for administrative court cases
• Imposing term limits for politicians to keep the government connected to the people
• Helping small businesses succeed
• Addressing the crime issues facing the city
